Hamster: Version 0.8.3 is now available

A new release of Hamster Audio Player is available for download. Version 0.8.3 is mainly a bug fixing release, that corrects various error with file associations and gui on Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Hamster: Hamster 0.8.1 is now available

A new version of Hamster Audio Player was released. In this version:

Hamster: Hamster 0.8.0 released

A new version of Hamster Audio Player is now available. New features includes, among other things:
  • New CdRipper (needs ASPI CD drivers)
  • Drag'n'drop support to add tracks to playlist
  • Various bugs fixed

New CdRipper tool needs ASPI CD DRIVER, otherwise you will always get 'No CD found' message . Those drivers (usually a single dll, named wnaspi.dll or wnaspi32.dll) are often preinstalled or installed by CD burning software: if this is not your case, you can easily find ASPI CD DRIVER online, for example here. Dll can be copied directly in 'CdRipper' subfolder of Hamster's installation path.

Hamster Audio Player: Hamster version 0.7.1

The first update to Hamster 0.7.0 is released. This version fix some minor bugs and improves video module.

Hamster Audio Player: Version 0.7.0 released

After a long internal developing time, we are ready to release version 0.7.0 of Hamster Audio Player. There are a lot of differences from its previous public release (which was 0.3.0), but we will enumerate only a few:

  • Control player directly from the icon in the traybar
  • Manage recent playlists
  • Enhanced GUI
  • New recording module
  • New video module (STILL EXPERIMENTAL)
  • New CD ripper module (STILL EXPERIMENTAL)
  • Support for other players (STILL EXPERIMENTAL)
